The Greek Independence Day Parade commemorates the Declaration of Greek Independence from Ottoman Empire on March 25, 1821. The parade is a NYC tradition that has been celebrated since 1938. Keep an eye out for the "Carnival of Love Mobile" as we march with pride on 5th Avenue in Manhattan along 64th Street rolling north to 79th Street.
