Join us for a free Creative Spectrum Art Social on Select Sundays at the Queens Museum!
Engage in a creative project where families can enjoy making hands-on art projects together! This program is designed for families affected by autism, especially children ages 5-13.
ArtAccess Programs are facilitated by art therapist Jacquie Moore.
The goal of this workshop is to provide a creative space for children with disabilities, where they can explore a variety of creative outlets of expression. Through collaborative artmaking, we will challenge kids with opportunities to socialize and think in new, creative ways.
Creating projects with a multi-modal approach helps to build visualization skills, creativity and thinking within a social context.
The workshops meet on the following dates:
Sundays: November 20, December 11, January 22, February 12, March 19, April 23 & May 21
Registration is required.
